A strip mall in the heart of West 41st Street is being renovated and marketed for tenants.
It’s located at 41st Street and Covell Avenue and anchored by Mac Pros, which will continue to do business there.
“This will be an upgraded facade and shopping center,” said Ryan Ammann of NAI Sioux Falls, who has the property listed and will be marketing it at this week’s International Council of Shopping Centers convention in Las Vegas.
Mac Pros owner Gary Rensch owns the 6,100-square-foot building. He is investing $175,000 in improvements, including new lighting, signage and resurfaced parking.
He’s looking at it as a long-term solution to acquiring and maintaining quality tenants,” Ammann said.
The building has 4,400 square feet available to lease that can be divided into spaces as small as 1,250 square feet.
Construction is scheduled to start next month and be completed in about 10 months.
The property is the former home of the city hall for the town of South Sioux Falls before it merged with the city of Sioux Falls in 1955.
